A Sanctuary for Cats and Haven for Cat Lovers
We are a devoted group of lifelong cat lovers who have spent years feeding strays, fostering kittens, and volunteering at the local shelters. But as we watched underfunded and overcrowded city and county shelters and cat rescues and cat lovers struggle to fill the needs of all of the homeless cats and kittens, we knew we had to and could do more.
That’s why we started our own nonprofit dedicated to rescuing cats from local high-kill shelters, especially senior cats that get stuck at the shelters the longest and have the highest euthanasia rates. Each cat stays in our cat sanctuary cafe for as long as needed, no matter how long it takes to find them their perfect forever homes.
We are in the process of securing a location for our cat sanctuary and cafe open to the public, where adoptable cats are visible to the community in a cozy and upscale sanctuary environment, bringing them closer to their future cat parents.
We are not just another sad cat shelter with malnourished and caged cats. Unlike many rescues that rely solely on temporary foster homes, our cats will be housed in a beautiful, cage-free café environment designed to be their forever home until a better one comes along. They will receive high-quality food, veterinary care, and lots of love and head scratches from our volunteers and visitors. Social cats can be found lounging in our petting area, greeting visitors and enjoying treats. For our more introverted residents, we offer quiet, viewing-only spaces where they can live their best nine lives in peace and dignity.
